For the love of anything please distract me. I’m in bastard agony post op having had ruptured sphincter repair. Just had second round of morphine and waiting for it to kick in but tbh the last one just about took the edge off.

Ward nurses lovely, nowt to report on other patients. New person arrived today post op. Had lovely visit from DH, DS, DSIS and DBil, no mean feat as I’m 40 miles away.

Ouch - have you any idea about recovery time? It's really windy here as well.

sashh · 05/10/2017 04:54

Shakey no idea what the numbers are or if they are the same on all three people or different numbers

Part 3

They are now in a car parked up, someone approaches them, gives them a piece of paper and they talk about 'her'. No idea who 'her is' but it appears she was a student and has disappeared or is dead.

They are then suddenly in her college room and they find a USB stick which has bits of metal stuck to it, the metal has business names and numbers on it, a bit like you would get on a pen.

Shakey15000 · 05/10/2017 04:55

Hearts, well done you! I would quit if I actually wanted to. Have you gone cold turkey? I quite fancy hypnosis but the “wants” got to be there hasn’t it? I’ve got so much going on though this last 4years I can’t even contemplate it

Part 4

They have accessed her computer files but something is missing. They find out that as well as her computer in her room she used one in a library/internet cafe housed in an old large terraced house, they get there and manage to get someone to open it for them It has steep stone stairs at the entrance.

Shakey15000 · 05/10/2017 04:57

Sashh you know you need to write a book now?

OP posts:
BulletFox · 05/10/2017 04:57

Hearts that's brilliant - I've had so many unsuccessful 'quits' in the past I get despondent just thinking about it

Shakey15000 · 05/10/2017 04:58

Teal any joy in getting him back to sleep? Smile

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 05/10/2017 04:59

Thanks Shakey. I have been thinking about it for a while and then did it on DD1's birthday and TOLD HER about it. So there is no going back Grin

I'm using a combo of patches, gum and that Allen Carr book.

I stupidly am doing it at the same time as changing my psych meds which was really, really, really stupid. Whenever I feel antsy (at bedtime usually) I can't tell if it's because of the meds or the fags and it is really throwing me off. It's getting better though.

graceadlerdesigns · 05/10/2017 05:00

Shakey i am awake... due to take dh into hospital today for tests. A bit worried -understatement of the century- 24 weeks pregnant to boot and the wind is howling.

Your op sounds pretty tough going. How are you feeling? Lovely that you have had lots of visitors.

sashh · 05/10/2017 05:00

HeartsTrumpDiamonds Yep actual dream, I have no imagination IRL.

Part 5 - final part and no good ending sorry

So they are in library/internet cafe and one of them searches under a table where there is an old disconnected printer,. In the printer is a USB stick.

They examine this stick and it has some of the bits of metal the same as the last one but not all the same.

Then I woke up, took pills and checked my hudle had charged, found Shakey's post and decided to come in here where I have a proper keyboard and type out my dream.

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 05/10/2017 05:02

Bullet I know what you mean. I hope this one "sticks". I quit for about a year once before, then my dad got ill and everything was going to shit so I had "just one". And yes within 6 weeks I was fully smoking again.

Shakey sorry I did not mean to derail! Is the morphine kicking in?

sashh · 05/10/2017 05:02

Hearts well done.

Grace good luck.

Shakey15000 · 05/10/2017 05:03

Bravo sashh!

Grace I hope today goes well. What are the tests for?

sashh · 05/10/2017 05:04

Shakey

It's strange, as I said no imagination when I'm awake but occasionally I have really interesting dreams. And quite often I know they are a dream and can change it if I don't like the way they are going.

Shakey15000 · 05/10/2017 05:04

Grace still very sore, but more tolerable. I hope today goes well for you FlowersIs it far to go?

Shakey15000 · 05/10/2017 05:08

sashh That’s a pretty unique skill! My cousin used to be able to “choose” what she’d dream about. There was a program ages ago where three people with the same skill, newly met and went to a particular bench in a particular park. They agreed they would meet there, in a collective dream that night. Two managed it, the third said it just didn’t happen for him Shock

OP posts:
graceadlerdesigns · 05/10/2017 05:10

Ssshhh but what is on the usb?! Go back to sleep and see if the dream comes back!

Hearts he is going in for endoscopy and colonoscopy... severe bleeding resultg in blood transfusion, iron ivs and now the tests. gulp.

Shakey15000 · 05/10/2017 05:11

Hearts I think that might be a good thing? As in, when you’re antsy you can totally attribute it to stopping smoking?

I have depression and use a** similar distraction “technique” usually. Crashed and burned lately though Confused

OP posts:
Shakey15000 · 05/10/2017 05:12

Grace- fingers crossed. I take it he’s also wiped out with the bowel prep?

Bowel prep=evil

OP posts:
sashh · 05/10/2017 05:13

Sorry Grace I'm awake now.

I'm sure the MN hive mind can do something with the story.

shakey Never done that, I might have to try if I find someone else that does this. Sometimes my dreams are like watching a film, I also 'read' in dreams. Most of the time there is no speech it is sort of telepathic communication but sometimes there is speech and sometimes sign language, but the people who sign in my dreams are often people who don't in real life.

Shakey15000 · 05/10/2017 05:14

Also, where the hell IS chat? Confused

OP posts:
BulletFox · 05/10/2017 05:15
