Will you be calling him Toby (with the second name Carvery) OP? Grin

Not true, as it happens. We recently (hurrah and huzzah) reintroduced the replies, so if you report something in you will get a bespoke, hand-crafted, custom-tailored bit of blethery gratitude from one of us. G'wan. Do it. We dare ya.

YetAnotherHelenMumsnet · 03/10/2017 21:03

Although not about this one. We're on top of this one. (We hope).

ssd · 03/10/2017 21:06

I always get a reply.

Never had any Thanks though Sad

VanillaSugar · 03/10/2017 21:08

Hahahahajjajajajajajajajaahahhaha 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂the YorkshirePudding baby thread is the funniest thing I've read for ages. And I only read the first page 😀😂😂

LadyWire · 03/10/2017 21:13

Relatively new here, what's TAAT?

liquidrevolution · 03/10/2017 21:16

Aw. shame I can't comment on the other thread.

I really wanted to say that My DD looked like the picture of the fat Chinese princess in the Ladybird Read It Yourself version of the Magic Paintbrush c.1970s. Its actually the first thing I said when I saw her. Admittedly was drugged up to the eyeballs though.

Im glad MNHQ have kept the thread for us all to read though.

SumThucker · 03/10/2017 21:28

TAAT means 'thread about another thread' LadyWire.

I'm all for reporting the 'off' threads, I can't get worked up about most TAAT threads though.

Good to know to expect a 'blethery' reply back to a genuine report though.

'Been here years, cod, penguins, Yorkshire pudding baby etc'

a carpet of Flowers for ssd!

GorgeousLadyOfWrangling · 03/10/2017 21:38

OK I hate 3d photos. My first baby scan black and white olden days (!) was cute - looked like Bart Simpson.
My second one years later had the 3d/4d experience and was freaked out by a bloody awful pic. Looked like my child had no nose (how does it smell) the GP who had encouraged me to go to the seminar with all these scanners looked suitably crestfallen and made me a new photo showing the nose, bless him. Freaky photos, they are.

elephantoverthehill · 03/10/2017 21:42

I am so glad all my scan photos looked like greying baked beans, on a good day.

BadLad · 03/10/2017 22:05

I'm surprised anyone could see any shapes in those scan photos. They were so blurred on my phone that I thought the baby himself might have taken them with a selfie-stick.

BriechonCheese · 03/10/2017 22:36

I don't know what she is pudding up with such a family. The baby looked tasty dough though.

MyPatronusIsAUnicorn · 03/10/2017 23:02

"Aunt Bessie is that you?"

😂😂😂😂 That thread is brilliant.

peachgreen · 03/10/2017 23:04

I just read half of that thread out loud to DH and we were both weeping with laughter by the end.

BreconBeBuggered · 03/10/2017 23:12

I couldn't read it all, but the bit of thread title I could see in Discussions of the Day led me to imagine it was going to be about the friend saying the baby looked like a Yorkshire Terrier. I was imagining ribbons and brown fringes everywhere. Was a bit disappointed at the whole puddinggate.

Teutonic · 04/10/2017 00:36

So, is she in the pudding club or not?

I was laughing so much reading that thread that I was in danger of asphyxiation.

😂😂😂
