OK. So normally by now I've done loads of sale shopping.. And got tonnes. This yr nothing. Various reasons surgery, ttc stress etc. So have saved up instead. But being as I'm now pregnant I want to cut down on unnecessary spends.
Now I normally go ott. On everyone. My DS has always had everything he asked santa for. This yr he knows the truth and I have explained not to ask for stuff that will simply still stay in its packet a yr later
I also get my DSC the equivalent.. Dp says really get DSC less as such as will have lots at the mums. Which I get as I know my DS has less at his dads as it's the non resident parent.
Would it be unreasonable to get DSC less. It wouldn't look less under the tree iyswim.
Or do I stick to what I normally do. But bearing in mind that nearly all DSC gifts are also still unopened. My DS wants mainly clothes and football stuff which I know will get used.
Also is it horrible to buy neices and nephews pj's. Not a toy as they have a toy room off stuff and tbh i don't know what they have or don't have.
I just want to cut back but not in a horrible way.

DS is old to know and DSC is too young to notice.

Just spend what you feel you can afford.
