Tell me something trivial that has pissed you off today

I'm working from home. In the middle of some very urgent work that requires my concentration also in the middle of a migraine oh the joy. My otherwise very nice opposite neighbour is sitting in his car outside his house taking a business call. The volume has got to be literally on full. I feel like screaming! It's going on, and on, and on. I'm like - dude your house is literally next to you. Go inside and take the call properly. Don't spend half an hour blasting the neighbourhood with intermittent, muffled sound. All my windows are closed btw so that's just how loud it is.
He's actually SO nice (so is his wife) that I don't want to go and say anything I'm a complete wimp. This just makes it MORE annoying.

Standing in the queue for the self service check out and there was a woman with one item so I let her go in front of me. As soon as she walked up to the till a bloke appeared and gave her about 15 more items that he’d clearly been sent off to forage for. 😡 Cheating gits.

MrsJamesAspey · 28/09/2017 18:38

My elderly mum phoned last night to say all the overhead lights in her flat had stopped working, I said it was probably the fuse and that I would go round today after work to look at it for her. Just been round and she sorted it herself last night after I said it was probably the fuse. She thinks I should be impressed that she did it herself, I'd be more impressed if she'd phoned and let me know I didn't need to fucking go round there Hmm

faithinthesound · 28/09/2017 18:39

Standing on the side of the road as cars drive past me. I KNOW they see me trying to cross, but none of them will let me. I have a raging headache and I need to get to the other side of the road quickly because my Uber is one minute away.

I confess I started playing the "Everyone preventing me from doing what I want/need to do right now is going to die in horrible ways" game.

Soontobenewmummy · 28/09/2017 18:51

We received some post with next door's address on it. I didn't recognise the name but figured they had a new lodger or something, anyway none of my business! As the good neighbour I am, I posted it through their door. Came back an hour later and they've posted it back through my door with 'not at number x' scribbled on it! Who do they think I am, the bloody post office? It's irrationally wound me up today. Pleased to get it off my chest!

Girlsworld92 · 28/09/2017 18:55

When a childminder commented on my 2 yr old daughter having a dummy. I'm also a childminder and this is my second DD and her having a dummy isn't something I worry about at the moment. I wanted to tell her to F off but I'm far too nice. Surely someone in this profession should have more tack. Stupid 🐮

toooldforthisshizzle · 28/09/2017 18:59

The only thing that's pissed me off today is my boss failing to sign up the company and therefore me to childcare vouchers for the 6th month in a row. All the usual trivial shit just washed over me.

Worriedrose · 28/09/2017 19:00

Everyone
Everyone is fucking me off today. People from my past
People in my life. I feel irrationally angry that I end up feeling irrationally angry
Have ordered an Indian and drinking wine. Which I'll probably end up feeling angry with myself about.

sonlypuppyfat · 28/09/2017 19:04

I live around the corner from DDs school. She is having a hard time so I thought she could come home for lunch. But no the school won't let her . Pathetic

winobaglady · 28/09/2017 19:09

I was driving in the lift share today.
I usually prefer to work late, but always make the effort to leave earlier when I am driving others, I know not everyone wants to stay until after 1800.
So, agreed to meet both liftees at 1630, I was there 1 minute before. Both the cheeky feckin liftees were late. One of them by 10 mins. They very nearly had to get the bus home.

GotToGetMyFingerOut · 28/09/2017 19:12

I spent an hour cleaning my kitchen sink, taps, draining board etc. Use washing powder and it comes up gleaming like new. Then washed kitchen window.

Dh came in and washed all his paint brushes in it and got paint splatters all over the window.

Longdistance · 28/09/2017 19:13

The people at swimming today.

So I take dd's for their lessons at 5pm. Sit down on some towels and make myself comfortable.

At 20 past 5, the next group come along, make loads of noise and disrupt the lessons. Then some families think it appropriate for 4, yes 4 people to attend the swimming lesson to watch their grandchild, like it a fucking picnic. There is no room to sit, as it's a school pool that is hired out.

Yes, I'm a grumpy fucker today 🤷🏼‍♀️

MuddlingThroughLife · 28/09/2017 19:18

Being stuck in the house yet again with no company because ds aged 10 never wants to do anything or go anywhere! 🎗

TheFlandersPigeonMurderer · 28/09/2017 19:25

I've started to paint the porch, which incidentally has been waiting to be painted for 4 and a bit years Hmm
It's very small so needs to be done in two lots so that we can shimmy past the wet half and still get out the door. So I dutifully did the first half then went to bed (night shift worker)
I woke up to hear DH clattering about painting the other half when he got home. Now I know it's not my porch, I'm fully aware it's irrational of me to be pissed off, added to the fact that I'm not hugely fussed over it in the first place, but for the love of all that is fucking holy, why couldn't he have done it in 2013 Angry
Now I've had to endure tales of how difficult the high bits were and what a difference the new paint has made

Giggorata · 28/09/2017 19:25

I arrived home from work at the same time DH and two muddy dogs from a walk. One dog planted big muddy paw on top of work shoe.

Beerwench · 28/09/2017 19:39

Nearly getting wiped off the road by the inconsiderate cock that thinks horses shouldn't be on the road therefore if he wipes one out at a time, he's doing his life's work. Only on the damned road 50 yards where the bridleway ends one side and continues slightly further up the other side. Country lane, wearing hi+viz etc. Apparently I'm supposed to teach the horse to levitate or something so that despite it being legal, some cuntmuffin doesn't have to move their car 4 feet over to pass me.
Luckily horse is used to jumping in ditches to save us all from death. Though he wasn't happy about being up to his knees in mud after all the rain and has loosened a shoe in the process.
Said cunty motorist also beeped, waved his arms about and shouted abuse as approaching. Made interesting viewing on my hat cam!

FairyDogMother11 · 28/09/2017 19:42

DP's friends came round to pick up some stuff they left at ours, and DP didn't even come to say hello straight away. He said he was in the middle of something but so was I. He claims he has a headache Hmm

MrsJamesAspey · 28/09/2017 19:43

I'd be posting that on some of the fb groups like idiot drivers exposed and then posting a link for us to watch Grin

worlybear · 28/09/2017 19:47

Every morning for the last month at 5 am the neighbour across the road has blown up his car tyre with a foot pump. It wakes me up as it's so noisy. FFS buy a new bloody tyre!

PippaPug · 28/09/2017 19:49

I got to hold my friends teeny newborn today and I felt all emotional even though it's not the right time for me to have a baby currently

Disinterested · 28/09/2017 19:51

Losing 1mil gold coins on the football strike game app because of lag - it had taken me ages to accumulate so much Blush

Bringmewineandcake · 28/09/2017 19:58

I've got a Tesco delivery booked for 8-9. I was desperately trying to get BF baby to sleep in time for 8 and was just succeeding and about to move her to bed, when the Tesco man rang the landline and woke her up. It was 7:51, he wanted to know if it was ok for him to deliver early Confused Angry Wine

My neighbours back garden - it’s a shit hole - literally full of dog crap, the grass is rarely cut - it’s just a sodding eyesore.

I was looking out the window today and it just made me really angry! They are a young couple, they have no excuse not to simply pick up dog crap and cut the grass now and then but nope Angry

shaz1900 · 28/09/2017 20:10

Dog walkers constantly letting their dogs pee on my front lawn.
