I'm hovering over the buy button but for £40 and mixed reviews I just don't know. I wanted it to clean our walk in shower as the doors slide and it's getting grubby and some of the tiles are too high to reach by hand. If you have this is it worth it?

I have been debating this too - and like you I'm not sure. Some reviews are good others not. I saw it in Wilkos for £35 (just in case the £5 saved makes you more inclined to buy Smile)

I bought a small hand held steam cleaner for about twenty quid, which I find works quite well in the bathroom (it's about the size of a kettle and has a hose which will reach up reasonably high)

Thank you the extra £5 would be nice but I was going to bung it on my store card and pay it off next month as that's when I get paid but the shower is doing my head in now! Spent forever scrubbing it today getting high on fumes and it still looks grubby Sad
It's also confusing me as Argos have 2 one for £30 one for £40, couldn't really tell by description what's the difference is Hmm

I just went for it collect it from shop in the morning. Thinking of the grimy shower was getting the better of me Grin I'll update if it's worth it or not. It better be for £40 Hmm

If you're still thinking of buying it I'd have a good think, it was okay. Still ended up scrubbing the titles with a toothbrush though so Hmm
Plus it's not a quick clean even with it it takes forever and it's heavy
DH must never know though 'yes it's great I love it worth the money' Grin

Thanks for this, you've helped me decide not to get it, was contemplating it as (as usual) it looks amazing on the ad!

I have one and love it!! Great for doing the floor!

seventeenlittleducks · 26/09/2017 18:48

Really 27? Maybe I'm doing it wrong? Do you not find it heavy and awkward, it took me ages to scrub my bathroom tiles, and toothbrush did exact same thing in my opinion :/ maybe I need to try it on more stuff.

Iv got this- use it on oven and allsorts, bought my mum one too as she was asking to 'borrow' mine Hmm

seventeenlittleducks · 26/09/2017 19:35

Maybe I was hoping for too much I was trying to get away with not re-grouting my worn out grubby tiles, but I think it's time, probably would of been less expensive too Grin I'll have another go, what other things can I use it on? Oven, car wheels (if I let DH borrow it, not cleaning his car Wink)

I run over the skirting boards with it and follow with a cloth, cleaning the dirty insides of the bits you dont see on windows unless theyre open- same for doorways, awkward bumpy plastic toys, the bbq, inside the dishwasher, around the bumpy chrome bits of the fire place, dusting the moulded plastic fake coals, dusting the wooden pices that the curtain poles are screwed to, above door surrounds, cleaning the bumpy griddle plate, the back of the soap drawer hole on the washing machine, tieing a cloth around the large flat brush and using it to clean and treat the leather sofa- i find allsorts to do with it Smile
