Hotels and towels

So I'm supposed to be on holiday relaxing but it's the first day of my period so that's not currently happening. I have been having the usual bad cramps and decided to take a shower. Of course I'm in a hotel with bright white towels and I have spotted over them. AIBU not to try and sort this? I'm to tired to care and not sure if really want to try to hand wash the towel anyway.

Do you think that every man who cuts himself shaving and gets blood on a hotel towel thinks twice before chucking it in bath to get washed?

Exactly and the same for all the other non menstrual reasons you might get blood on a towel.

Don't be embarrassed, they won't bat an eyelid. Glad you didn't take the advice to steal it Grin

I'd wash the spot out under the cold tap then chuck it in the laundry.

Don't steal the towel!

Cold water is good at removing blood stains or at least the worst of it.

Ask housekeeping to swap your towel.

You've done nothing wrong so no need to worry. Smile

OK OP for those suggesting that you perhaps shouldn't steal the towel... I was messing around. I thought the inclusion of "they exist to be stolen!" would indicate that I was joking but apparently not...

For the avoidance of any doubt - don't nick the towel.

That kind of stuff happens all the time at hotels. Don't worry
