If you want to piss them off then go ahead. Are you the babysitter ?

LynetteScavo · 17/09/2017 11:15

Depends who the baby sitter is...if you know they'll be up it's ok...if you're not sure don't.

DoomGloomAndKaboom · 17/09/2017 11:44

There is a clause in Murphy's Law that says parents of small children will only receive a text at 730am on the very rare occasion they are getting a lie-in.

What happened OP?

Allforone75 · 17/09/2017 11:49

I can't even believe I'm reading this?? Sounds like someone is just bored and wants someone to talk to??

JustMumNowNotMe · 17/09/2017 11:53

Is this a reverse?! Has someone text you on early sunday morning about Friday?!!! Shock

I'm up by then but I'd still be pissed to be text about work at that time on a Sunday when its not an emergency.

I'd make it plain it wasn't acceptable and it isn't to happen again

dontstophelping · 17/09/2017 12:18

Ex nanny here. I'd be very annoyed.

Mittens1969 · 17/09/2017 16:29

Why would you text anyone so early on a Sunday morning unless it's an emergency?? I would be most annoyed, it's our only morning when we don't have to get up early as the DDs have gymnastics on Saturday morning. That's just plain inconsiderate.

I kind of suspect it's a reverse too.

Whitecurrants · 17/09/2017 16:34

I don’t think it’s ever unreasonable to text as I wouldn’t look at a text until it’s convenient anyway. I now realise I’m in a minority - every day’s a school day (even a weekend)
