Ffs friends of ours getting married and the stag dos and wedding has taken over every weekend in September and is costing a bloody fortune! We've commuted to it now and have had to cancel things to afford it ffs people and their weddings

Its a huge investment of time and money for no reward really. Yes, I get some are all about the warm and fuzzies blah blah blah but accepting the request of best man doesn't always have to cost a Kings ransom.

I don't understand whats wrong with a night on the tiles with a few plastic willies. Any member of the wedding party or close friend will feel obligated to attend these weekends away. I went on one to Dublin once, cost a bloody fortune and just felt like I was an add on to subsidise the bride and her bridesmaids. Never again.

Hang in there OP, we are half way through the month, not long Flowers
