To take my ds out of nursery

Not even a long story. I suspect (well know from talk and evidence) of the manageress of the nursery I put my ds to doing Coke. It's a someone has run their hand over the toilet evidence if anyone thinks I'm being silly.

I know I have to take my ds out but having other kids gone through the nursery I don't know if I'm overreacting. I've done a lot of things in my time but drugs has always been the cut off. I'm so angry

You aren't happy there so remove, but I'd also report for potential safe guarding.

insancerre · 16/09/2017 06:38

Take your child out, yes if you don't trust the manager
But you can't report her to anyone as you don't have any evidence
You could ruin her career even if it wasn't proven
If you suspect your customers are taking drugs then the onus is on you to report it at the time

JustMumNowNotMe · 16/09/2017 06:41

Riiiiiight Hmm

vegetariansAreDelicious · 16/09/2017 06:48

This is hilarious.

Why was your friend testing the bathroom for drug use?

I think the situation is implausible and nothing more than naivety and childish gossip.

However, if I found out that a worker at my child's nursery had taken drugs on a night out, it would have no impact on my opinion of how they are at work.

Great nursery worker + takes drugs sometimes socially = great nursery worker.

Mummymulb16 · 16/09/2017 06:49

What's a pot of Vaseline got to do with this? This story makes no sense whatsoever! You have no proof Hmm

Auspiciouspanda · 16/09/2017 06:49

Take your kid out if you want but you'll be bond to your notice period if you have one and two I wouldn't go around telling people because you could be in hot water if the person or nursery decides to take legal action since you don't actually have any evidence.

MrsOverTheRoad · 16/09/2017 06:50

It could have been whoever went in BEFORE the manager though OP! Grin You sound paranoid tbh.

That is NOT evidence of anything!

UnicornRainbowColours · 16/09/2017 07:11

You sound ridiculous sorry but you do.

BuggerLumpsAnnoyed · 16/09/2017 07:18

This is ridiculous. You're being ridiculous.

How can there be only one person using a toilet ever in a restaurant?

MaisyPops · 16/09/2017 07:23

If you want to be better safe than sorry then remove them.

I don't think you have any grounds tk report them and it does feel a bit small town gossip to me. I certainly wouldn't be telling other parents if you remove your child.

Dancinggoat · 16/09/2017 07:46

It sounds like you've been sucked into small town gossip.

insancerre · 16/09/2017 08:06

I think it was your co worker
She is using the nursery manager as a decoy

coolaschmoola · 16/09/2017 08:10

Wonder if the cleaner uses Cif cream, tis great for toilets. Hmm

RainyDayBear · 16/09/2017 08:36

I don't really understand why you are linking the two issues. If they were under the influence of any substance at work then I'd agree that's outrageous and would withdraw my child! But what they do on their own time is their business as far as I'm concerned.
