Not really aibu, just posting for traffic.

My ds has just lost his third tooth. I kept his first one and second he lost in the playground at school.

My friend says she has kept all her childrens teeth. I was just going to get rid of them from now on since I have one. Is it actually a wee bit creepy?Confused

What have you done?

I bin them. My mum kept all my, and my siblings, teeth. I was totally 'wtf?' when she handed them to me aged 18, and I binned them too.

I have kept none and never will. It's not a thought I like.

I kept them thinking it was cute and sentimental. When they were 19 and 15 we moved house. Found them in my dressing table in two little boxes. Nothing sweet, nothing cute. Just tiny teeth with brown bits - their teeth were perfect. I was nuts ever to keep them. They went straight in the bin.

We kept our DD's by default - she was freaked out about the idea of the Tooth Fairy sneaking into her room at night to get them from under her pillow, so she asked to hang onto them until she was a bit older (she's still hoping for the money!). Now I'm glad we have, because apparently you can extract stem cells from teeth so if ever me, her dad or her succumb to a serious illness, we might be able to use them. Not sure if we should be keeping them in the fridge though!

I have thrown them in the bin as soon as the Tooth Fairy has done her bit.

I can remember the horror I felt finding my own baby teeth in a small box when I was a teenager. Yuck doesn't come close.

A friend sincerely asked me what I did with baby teeth once the TF had been and was horrified that I binned them. Grin

I had them in a little box, the DC's found them when they were older and it freaked them out. So I gave them a decent burial in the garden.
