I don't know why I buy these things when I've never cooked them before.

Would you roast them or fry them? If you have guides on temperatures for either of these, times involved, I would be very grateful.

I'd fry them. Being flat, they are great for making quick schnitzel - season, dip in beaten egg then breadcrumbs and fry in a fairly generous amount of oil.

Or chop into strips and use for a stir fry.
Or spread with garlic and herb cream cheese, fold over lengthways and wrap in bacon, then roast for 30 mins at 180 degrees.

Thank you Sugar.
I don't have egg or breadcrumbs!
I have nothing in for a stir fry (shopping day is today!)
I have garlic puree and could get bacon in the little shop across the road so that might a go!

I put mozerella cheese and spinach on top then sort of roll them round it kiev style and wrap in bacon. They're lovely like this.

I sprinkle lemon juice and ground pepper on top and then grill them gently. Quick and tasty.

ineedwine99 · 14/09/2017 14:11

I put them on the george foreman or under the grill

janey8800 · 14/09/2017 14:23

I put swiss cheese, ham and mustard on top of them and then roll them in to a roulade and bake them. So easy and tasty.

Thank you all for the lovely suggestions. I'll let you know how I get on. Think I'm going to go with the garlic puree and bacon wrapped around them. I only have parmesan or cheddar here at the moment. Not sure what the little shop sells in terms of cheese.

I fry them, then make a mushroom sauce with creme fraiche to go with them.
Quick and easy dinner!

Well I wrapped them in bacon and put garlic puree inside. They were fabulous. Thank you all. Loads of other recipes for me to try.

Mmm, sounds lovely!

I was going to say massive chicken turkey kievs. Not as difficult as it I thought it would be but you do need breadcrumbs.

Make a slit in the breast to hold the garlic butter - garlic in some form like your puree mixed into butter with some italian ish herbs. Don't pierce the base or too low down or the butter runs out. Then dip in beaten egg, flour, making sure to seal the slit, back to egg then breadcrumbs. Put in oven.

Luxuriate in the garlicky goodness :)

It's garlic and herb cream cheese not puree that was suggested. Neat puree spread all over might be a touch, erm, much?
