To want sexy workout clothes?

I have to start "working out" as a way of minimising a medical condition I have :-(

Exercise is probably my least favourite activity EVER and I have serious willpower ishoos. I'll be doing my exercises and weights and stuff at home.

Part of me wants to get a really cool/nice/sexy workout outfit so I can feel motivated and good when working out.

The other part of me thinks thats pathetic and a waste of money when I could just wear the old t-shirt and tracksuit bottoms I already have.

What do you wear?

I wear workout leggings and a Primark slouchy t-shirt as it's a longer length.

There are loads of nice work out clothes go for it. I love my work out gear if I have to be doing it I want to be dressed for it

Decathlon has loads of reasonably priced workout stuff. Not sure if it's sexy, but it won't break the bank! Smile

I don't know what your personal taste is.... and none of these are "sexy"....
but loads of leggings here that'd certainly make getting dressed for the gym more interesting.

Sainsbury TU do a great range

Watching with interest for new shops.

I say go for it OP! New workout gear always motivates me to get started.

I like Nike leggings. They have some groovy prints too. They fit well and look flattering but I would like some nice tops because I'm not keen on theirs.

Maybe you could set yourself some workout goals (certain number of reps/push-ups/what-have-you), and your reward for reaching them could be a piece of new gym kit? Could be good encouragement :)

I found it helped me motivation wise to have the correct 'gear', instead of using my old t-shirts. Felt more ready to go. I just got it all from T-XMax

Wren that's a great idea!

Sports Direct is affordable with big selection. Sports Gear is very "in", New Look, Primark and every other chain of women's wear shop seems to sell it.

I wear "Dad's clothes" : an old t-shirt or tank top & a pair of net crotch shorts I got in a charity shop. Old socks with holes in them. Sometimes my trainers have holes, too.

I'm gonna be honest with you. I find that people who feel strongly about the "right gear" seem the least likely to use it much.
