14 year old chalk/ cheese twin boys. Neither volunteering any ideas of a birthday activity both want to do. Neither having presents as they're saving money. Neither want a party. Was hoping we could do something vaguely exciting but neither seem to have any ideas. Help. Or is this what teen birthdays are like?Confused

Depending on the part of the country you're in, Segway riding? Various companies offer it, just google..
"Go Ape" or similar high-wire kind of course if neither have vertigo?
Or sometimes they just want to hang at home with pizza / movies and have a few friends stay over?

For his 13th he hired a football pitch, for his 15th he hired a football pitch and for his 15th next month guess what? He's hiring a football pitch. He's nothing if not predictable

Mine is 13. He hired a football pitch with a friend, organized teams, had pizza and cake pitchside afterwards. Another friend did paintball.

Mine gave up wanting to do anything st all when they were teens. So we did family meals out or a takeaway, gave them cash, and I bought lots of small things to wrap so they had something to open - beef jerky, maltesers, can of monster etc. We also paid for them to go to Nando's or bowling with their mates (no parents allowed!)

I have two teen girls. The last few years they've just gone somewhere like TGI's or Kasspas with a few friends and I've paid the bill. Dd1 is 16 in two weeks and after the shitty year we've had (ds was diagnosed with a brain tumour in January) I've spoiled her and booked the Harry Potter tour in London on the day of her birthday, just the two of us 🎗

Mine wanted to go away for his 14th so we stayed in a Premier Inn in Portsmouth and took him shopping for new clothes.

Go karting or quad biking and Nando's afterwards.
