Fed up of her taking over. Aibu to not go?

Four uni friends meeting up for lunch on Saturday. I suggested a place to go.

One of them didn't respond to the message until today (was sent on Sunday) and had now said let's go somewhere else.

This is so typical of her to just take over everything and make it her way.

I genuinely just don't feel like going anymore. Aibu?

Does it matter that much where you go?

MsWanaBanana · 13/09/2017 20:08

Don't go if you don't want to but maybe come up with a way that every time a diff person gets to decide where to go. That way everyone gets a turn and no one feels left out

I have an acquaintance who always tries this on, usually with locations within a 5 minute walk from her place.

Over the years we've learned just to say, "It's going ahead at x as planned, hope to not see you there"

ChasedByBees · 13/09/2017 20:08

If you really object to that place, give a reason and ask to stick with plan A (although that wasn't actually accepted by the group from what you say).

Put
Lol! Lastminute.com! We're going here thanks!

Theresnonamesleft · 13/09/2017 20:15

Maybe next time. Plans made. We meet at x at x time.
Do it every time

dowagercountess · 13/09/2017 20:46

Have a friend that does this every single time.
Has she given a reason for changing the place?

KurriKurri · 13/09/2017 20:47

So three of you have agreed to go to place A and she has said last minute she doesn;t want to go there ? Tell her it's tough that's where you are going - then she decides whether she wants to go or not. No idea why you are considering not going.
