To expect to be able to go all inclusive and have 3 bedrooms?

Three dc and dp, eldest dc is 17, have been going self catering for years as need three bedrooms on holiday for the 5 of us,

Would really like to go half board or all Inclusive but can't find anything that fits the bill?

Don't want to be spread across hotel rooms with no space.

AIBU to think that there must be a villa complex somewhere in Europe that has an all inclusive buffet style access and fits the bill?

Recommendations if you have any too!

Aliathon Holiday Village in Cyprus does 3 bed apartments

MyBrilliantDisguise · 15/09/2017 12:01

@seesensepeople That was how MN started, so that parents could recommend places to others!

You might have found a niche in the market for a Spanish franchise of centre parcs or el Parc centricalle

We did Salgados as per the reply above last year with 5 of us and had three separate bedrooms and a living room. Kids loved it as each bedroom had a TV and shower room and we were on the ground floor so the pool was just outside. We booked it direct with the hotel which was a lot cheaper than Thomson and then booked flights with them. They have a sister hotel closer to Albafuera which we stayed at 5 years ago and went with Easyjet holidays to that also gave us three bedrooms. I can't remember the name though

Watching this thread - also looking for this type of holiday. We normally go on holiday with 2 other families and get a self-catering villa but would love to go all inclusive. We would need 5 bedrooms though so I really don't think that exists!

Otherwise we'd need to get separate villas but the downside is that we would all have to stay in our villas once the kids were down to bed :(

slalomsuki · 22/09/2017 11:49

When we were at Salgados we shared an outer entrance hall with one other 2 bedrooms apartment. The entrance door was key accessed and once inside the two apartments could have been opened up in to one large one if required which would have been seamless or operated as two apartments as it was when we were there. Our neighbours were nice and we didn't see much of them

NotMrsTumble · 22/09/2017 12:02

I originally booked a 3 bed at salgados, but was, IMHO downgraded by the hotel /tui as we were in fact given a two bed and sofa bed. As they don't seem to do 3 bed apartments any more. I agree a sofa bed isn't ideal, and I wouldn't go back to salgados palm village on that basis alone. We've been to mestral too, at the end of the season it is very quiet, and the resort is TINY. Hotel facilities were ok, AI food and dining room not great but acceptable. Rooms a great size and recently done up, but we did have issues with a bad damp smell. Aliathon in Cyprus was good (we had a 2 bed as youngest was in a cot at the time). Great facilities, good AI, so if they do do a 3 bed, it's definitely worth a look. Loads for kids of all ages too.

minipie · 22/09/2017 13:12

Following! We only have 2 kids but they are both terrible sleepers so 3 beds would be amazing.

I can only think of Aphrodite Hills in Cyprus, but not sure if it does AI - you may have to pay for food separately but at least it does have restaurants and kids clubs etc.

Also Baobab suites in Tenerife but ££££

catgirl1976 · 22/09/2017 16:04

Place marking with interest as I want somewhere like this (though 2 bed) and just haven't been able to find what I'm looking for so I will be googling the recommendations on here! :)

TroelsLovesSquinkies · 22/09/2017 16:38

I like the Cay Beach bungalows in Melonares Gran Canaria, the two bed ones sleep up to 6 and you can do half board

GreenTulips · 22/09/2017 16:52

We stayed at festival village in salou

We had one of the sled catering apartments but were all inclusive -

Gave us the options of cold water in the fridge and tea making etc

Worth a look

themueslicamel · 22/09/2017 19:54

Had a look at most of these and as far as I can see there are without exception 2 bed plus lounge.

If anyone fancies going on Dragons den with a plan of building 3, 4 and 5 bed apartments in a self contained resort with an all inclusive option then quite frankly they would be mad not to back it!!!!!

Pine Cliffs on the Algarve, good but dear.

ImissTerry · 12/11/2017 13:54

mirador de lobos golf resort corralejo Fuertaventura. We stayed here in July. Semi detatched 3 double bedroomed villas with private pool overlooking a mini golf course. AFAIR it was possible to go full board/half board as there was a clubhouse. We just did self catering and got a taxi into town each night. The taxi was on around 4 euros each way.

The villas were great. Had a washing machine so we could just throw our clothes in at the end of the day and wash on a quick wash. We weren't going to die from not doing boil washes for a fortnight!

larrygrylls · 12/11/2017 13:54

Marriott, several in Spain...a bit less expensive.

They do exist but I am also surprised there are not more of them.

JustAWestcountryGirl · 12/11/2017 13:57

Not Europe, but Melia Dunas in Cape Verde is all inclusive and has three bed villas. It's awesome!

OhWhatToChoose · 12/11/2017 13:59

Not so! That’s crazy the least amount of time I’ve spent in New York is a week, first time went for 10 days. Although people tell me I’m crazy as each time I go to Vegas we go for two weeks!

pandarific · 12/11/2017 14:05

Mitsis Blue Domes in Kos? Beautiful place.

goose1964 · 12/11/2017 14:19

Iberostar Costa Dorada in the DR has interconnecting rooms, they are huge so 3 kids can easily share, we did it with 3 teenagers.
