To ask my 2yo to walk 4-5 miles a day?

She's 3 end of November. School run 1mile times 4 plus extra bits during the day. Eg another 0.2 to her nursery x2. Shopping etc. Not to mention running around at home, park, soft play etc. She does it fine but is slowing down on some legs and is definitely more tired for it. Should I use buggy for one leg or is she too old?

Bizarrely no, not in the middle of nowhere but fairly near a city centre. House is a fair distance from main road so is far enough just to get out of the street, also fairly far from nursery and school which are both in opposite directions and have different pick up times. Shops are in a different direction again as are DD's after school activities. Yesterday for example I had to return home after nursery then go out an extra time for a meeting early afternoon with youngest DD. All
Sounds fairly unremarkable but adds up over the day!

Would take the buggy and if DD wants to at some stage want a ride then that will help out. Does seem a lot for a 3 year old. I take it this would be in all weather's too which would be even harder.

Dd2 walked about that far on school days when she was about that age. She was with the cm who had 2 younger children with her by then so they were in the double buggy and dd2 walked. They always had to do the school run, which was just under a mile each way, both ends of the day. I think if dd ever got too tired she was allowed to swap places with the slightly younger child in the buggy but I don't think that happened very often as dd loved walking and they were all happy to go at her pace.
