Whereby a MNer "with her shit together" can "adopt" a MNer who is #failingatlife, forming a supportive "mother and daughter" relationship that transcends geographical boundaries.

KindleBueno · 12/09/2017 11:37

I've my shit together but I'm on AIBU because I'd rather judge people instead of help them.

MorrisZapp · 12/09/2017 11:41

Nobody needs help to get their shit together, illness etc excepted.

They just have to want to do it. Doing it for them makes it worse. Then they think 'someone else will do it' and ignore it even more.

My house is together but my job is going to shit. I could sort it out, I'm not daft. But I just... won't.

Oh, and I'll pay anyone who knows a secret way to stop tantrums forever!

EvilDoctorBallerinaDuckKeidis · 12/09/2017 12:12

I have my shit together re organising school mornings, even out of the ordinary ones like today, involving a birthday, including taking chocolate buttons for everyone in the class, packed teas for after school club and PE for both DC.

I need help with being shit at housework.

TalkinBoutNuthin · 12/09/2017 12:26

Mother Anecdoche? I moved to the other side of the world from my mother, would you like me to sort that out for you? Grin.

I'll offer meal planning and batch cooking services in return for someone dealing with the ridiculous amount of ironing that needs tackling.

lougle · 12/09/2017 13:46

Has anyone else seen the advert from Gok Wan? He's offering work wardrobe help.
