Apologies in advance because I know this is not an AIBU but I thought it wouldn't get read elsewhere.
Anyway (NC for this) ...
Over the last few weeks I have noticed that I have a strong musky smell from my vagina, which when I'm wet gets even more obvious.
I don't feel I can go to the doctor because I am not unwell and have no other changes (no discharge etc). Do I just invest in some FemFresh? (I hate the idea of those products but I am becoming so self conscious).
Any advice would be appreciated! Blush

Have your recently changed products that you use to bathe in/wash?

Definitely go and see the doctor-you may need a swab to check for infection, which you can usually do yourself in private.
Please don't use femfresh etc-might just make the problem worse as they upset your natural ph balance.

Nothing has changed with products I use to shower/wash

Can I really go to the doctors just for a smell?

Yes! It might be an infection!

Musky?
Is that exactly how you wanted to describe it?

lotsoflove that seemed the best word. It's not an unpleasant smell. It's my normal wet smell I think but it seems really strong. Maybe I should have said 'fanny smell' GrinGrinGrin
