How am I meant to look at the asking price and be rude about their furniture?

awaits posts from people telling me not to be nosy

Any house that doesn't show the bathroom makes me immediately think, "IT'S A NON-WHITE BATHROOM SUITE, ISN'T IT? THAT'S WHAT YOU'RE TRYING TO HIDE!"

Also, a cupboard they keep the computer in downstairs does not have "potential" to be a 4th bedroom.

And floor plans like this can fuck right off. I thought I was snooping researching into nearby properties, not playing the Sims!

PaulDacresButtPlug what did you say when she asked to stay over? That is hands down the weirdest house selling story I've ever heard.

PaulDacresButtPlug · 03/09/2017 15:39

She asked DH rather than me and he kind of smiled a lot and then started to hurriedly talk about what we had done to the house (knocked a wall down etc.)

She hadn't an appointment to see it either, she had just seen the For Sale sign so, I think, we managed to bundle her out the door by asking her to go via the Estate Agent in a 'as that's what we have to do, do everything via them' sort of way.

The EA later said that they knew her quite well and, yes, she had moved that many times!

I find it annoying when the floorplan is included, but there is no compass to show which direction the house faces. I want a South or West facing garden. I want to know which rooms are going to get the sun.

I assume that if there is no compass it means the garden faces North.

Another one that annoys me - when estate agent says something like "the garden is 0.7 acres" - who the fuck measures anything in acres if it isn't a whole one? NOBODY.
