Job interview yesterday, bloke said he would call me between 5-6 to arrange a trial. No call. AIBU to think this was rude?

Yes, very rude. Did you contact him? Has he contacted you since to rearrange? Be wary of working for someone like that, they may forget how many hours you've worked.

Depends. You know it is just possible that you aren't the only person in the world and something more important came up?

blankface · 01/09/2017 09:40

Yes, it's rude/bad mannered.

Take it as a sign that because it's irritated you, that place is not likely to be a good working environment for you and look elsewhere Smile

I'm well aware I'm not the most important person in the world but don't put a time on it if you can't be reliable. I understand but at least call the next morning to apologise. Just irked me that's all.

So rude!

I went for a job interview in March, was told she would contact me that evening between 6-8 to let me know if I was successful or unsuccessful. I'm still waiting to hear from her...In September.

However the person who was successful in the post left in June.
