To consider spending a LOT of money on a safari holiday ...

My three kids will be 19, 16 and 13 next Summer, I am a single parent and really thinking this is likley to be the last oppportunity for us to go away as a family together,

It's a 3 weeks trip, very nice, and pretty expensive. But amazing. Will see stuff and do stuff together that we will always remember,

What are memories worth ? Is it worth the debt it will be for me ( but I can manage) .... I can't make my mind up ...

It's something I'd really love to do, too, but I wouldn't go into debt for a holiday (possibly with the exception of arranging it around a sibling's wedding or something that were date specific). Your dc will still come with you the year after, if you are treating them to that sort of a holiday, believe me .

In the end, all things bring equal I will have all but £5k of the cost coveted before I have to pay for it, and by the time we go there will only be £1500 outstanding. The three weeks is important for me, previously we have done a road trip in california, inc Yosemite , Grand Canyon and Las Vegas for 3 weeks, and it was amazing.

It will be a travelling holiday, with about 8 days safari total, the rest doing other stuff ..

Very excited, and kids can’t wait 😊😊
