Sold pram on selling site

I don't think I am being unreasonable, but just would like a few opinions please!

I recently sold a pram online and the person who bought it came and collected it. All seemed happy and off she went. The pram was only bought by me last summer with a brand new seat and colour pack bought towards the end of the year. The only reason I sold it was because my toddler has outgrown it.

Before selling I hoovered and cleaned all around the pram, seat liner etc. My toddler only came out of the pram two weeks ago when my new one came, so it has only recently had a deep clean!

Anyway the buyer has now contacted me (a week later) saying they are dissatisfied with the pram as it smells strongly of mould, so much so that their daughters clothes now smell of mould and that it is no good, they want the money back to buy a different one.

I am so offended as first of all I know it didn't smell if mould at all, it was spotless, and secondly i feel like they are saying I am not a clean person (my house is bloody spotless!). The pram was only ever stored in the hallway of my house, not in a shed or anything and was left in the sun to fully dry after I washed it down!

So AIBU to have replied saying that it categorically did not smell of mould when I sold it and that it was sold as seen and I would not be given them their money back, they were given the chance to look over it and shouldn't have taken it if they weren't happy with it!

As she paid cash/collection - it's her responsibility to thoroughly check the goods prior to handing over the cash - good for you for standing your ground...

well as she paid cash she has no comeback - unless she decides to go to small claims, but I guess that is unlikely.

I'm a bit nervous she might turn up on my doorstep as she bought it from my house! But I am adamant that it didn't smell in the slightest and she was more than happy with it when she bought it!

I expect she found a cheeper pram and wanted her money back for that... I've had something similar happen to me.
