To think people need to stop posting here for traffic

The most irrelevant posts come up in AIBU it's AIBU and I don't understand why people have to fill it with nonsense simply for traffic, it annoys me.

It annoys me along with people who don't RTFT before posting, people who don't use paragraphs, people who over-use MN abbreviations to the extent I can't tell who DS's DBIL's DF is, people who drop feed, and - above all - fucking troll hunters who gleefully disregard MN rules. I am having a bad week and am not in a good mood. Usually I'm lovely :D

People are just so self important that they think their post is so interesting it can and should go anywhere, as long as more people see it. People posting scan pictures to guess the sex in aibu, and asking about dresses or prams etc. Is it so hard to find the right topic and just be tidy?

The only problem I can see is that people post in here for traffic when they need advice, but they get ripped to shreds by arseholes posters who see AIBU as their own personal Hunger Games where they can bully anyone they perceive as weaker.

AIBU used to be great for firm advice and good debate. Now it's full of trolls and competitive dickheadery.

I don't care where things are posted. If I'm interested I'll read, if not I won't!
But how will you find it if it's not posted in the appropriate place? If I want to find AIBUs, especially AIBUs with interesting content but damned silly cryptic titles, I haven't got the time or the energy to scour the whole site.

I think the vast majority of users just look at active, they don't focus on specific boards. I know I do. I just read what looks interesting and don't care where it's posted. I think it's probably the same for most folks.

I just look in active to see what grabs my attention. Never actually look at the different boards!
