To be irritated by the BT advert? (With the budgie)

Lighthearted to an extent but ...

This advert irritates me! Firstly how irresponsible to have a budgie flying loose around a house with windows open?! Secondly when it escapes and comes back in the garden - wouldn't happen!! Once it escaped chances are you'd never see it again! I hope people don't see this advert and think a budgie would be a great pet to have join you in the garden etc

And lastly when it comes back the girl thanks her grandad - and he gladly accepts the credit - why? What was his part in it? Did he buy her the bird in the first place or is he just taking credit for "finding" it?

Makes me cross. Oh well, on with the day ahead I suppose!

Worse advert on tv and possibly ever are those awful Paddy Power ones

What about the one where the woman invites all her friends around to see her new fitted bedroom and they all practically have a communal fucking orgasm over it? If you're that excited about a wardrobe you need to go back to the manual.

So glad they cut parts of the Keely "smug" Hawes advert. It is vaguely tolerable now.

Loved her in Line of Duty but my god does she come across as unbearably smug playing herself in that ad... and those awful Boots ads :( What a disappointment.

Glad I'm not the only one wondering what grandad is getting the credit for! 😁

I feel sorry for the budgie, he will be lonely without a companion. They live in huge flocks don't they? Sad

Gad, and those bloody Pampers adverts for babies that try to get away when your change their nappies, causing you to mysteriously forget how to put a nappy on properly so they just fall off the baby or something... the point is Moving Baby Harder To Change, so why are they showing a baby lying perfectly still to put on their pull-up on, then baby even obligingly rolls over so they can pull it up at the back??! Sorry, but the point is they're not keeping still for nappy changes!

And that damn jaunty "comedy" background music makes me murderous
