Fully prepared to be told Iabu but I'm a bit no, actually I'm a lot Hmm.

DP and I have a lovely relationship, no problems at all etc. I've given up smoking, it'll be 2 weeks tomorrow and it's going well so far. As with everything I do DP is very supportive. I was the only smoker in the house.

Anyways, today we both happened to have a day off, I had things I wanted to get on with and DP went out for a few hours. When he came home he started telling me about some bits and pieces he'd bought while he was out and then he pulls out a bloody pipe. A Sherlock Holmes feckin pipe.
He then popped into the garden and proceeded to smoke the bastard thing. Ffs sake.

Now, I'm as easy going and laid back as your average Pagan hippy but is it me or is that a) a feckin bizarre thing to take up and b) bloody insensitive given I'm trying my hardest to quit a stupid addiction which he has always worried about regarding my health.

AIBU or has he lost the bloody plot?

Does he realise that pipes cause mouth cancer?

Does he realise that pipes cause mouth cancer?

For some reason, I'm hearing this in Candice-Marie's voice from Nuts In May.

Have you asked him why, when you have just stopped smoking, he has started? Like just, straight out asked him what his thought process is? Weird.

You must be married to my DH. He did the exact same thing when I quit smoking.
