Right not an aibu but this board is where all the drama and the LTB happen so I thought it would be good to have a positive post so let's post the good things we love most about our partners and show the rest of the world that there are good men out there!

He loves every version of me. Treats my family as his own and is incredible with our daughters.

He's incapable of deceit (I'm not naive, ihe is beyond rubbish at being untruthful...a trait he's helpfully passed onto one of our daughters) and generous to a fault.

He's not perfect (he's human after all), but he's perfect for me.

About 6 months ago OH lost a backpack on the London underground that had some clothes, bits and pieces and our electric toothbrushes in it and we never got it back.

It was his birthday last week and he decided that he wanted to spend his gift card from my family on new electric toothbrushes for us. Sounds silly, but I thought it was lovely he never forgot Grin sometimes it's the little things!

He did not think twice about testing to be a live kidney donor for me...we are a match and I receive his kidney in 8 wks.

My DH is my third and my best (and last)

We met late on in life but are more than making up for it.

He is patient kind and thoughtful. He isn't phased when he has had to wipe up my snot/blood/piss/vomit. He loves me even when I am producing the above!

He tells me I am sexy and the only girl for him. When he is at work he will text me to tell me to listen to the radio if he hears a song that says how he feels about me.

He is a fab step dad - he sorts out my adult daughters, rolls his eyes and puts his hand in his pocket for cash or rocks up with his tool kit ready to fix stuff.

We are best friends and my heart aches when I am not with him
