Sharing my bedroom with a mouse ...

So for the past two months I've heard rustling noises in my bedroom when I've turned the lights off.
As if something was walking around, noises on my chest of drawers on my cabinet etc.
A couple of times I think I've seen something out of corner of eye but when I look it's gone.
Today I'm sat in bed and out the corner of eye see something dark grey climbing from floor up my dressing table ..I look and can't see anything.
5 mins later ...I see a mouse running along my floor.
I've been sharing my room with a mouse and now it's on the loose.
I'm terrified

Honestly it won't crawl on you, it's petrified of you. I know this because we had a mouse problem, they had access to the bedroom because i saw droppings on the dressing table. I used to sleep with the duvet over my head when i first suspected something but they never came near. Had to get snap traps with peanut butter as bait to get rid.

Imagine if its been under the actual quilt!!!

In that case you could make a feather jumper and pretend to fly.

Sleep downstairs. Then tomorrow set snap traps with Nutella. And if you are as scared as I am, get in the professionals to block up the entry points. Pricey but worth it for peace of mind.

Jojo267 · 23/08/2017 22:31

Wow impressive ..please lend me your cat

Ignore those saying he is more scared of you than you are of him. Mice are psychotic little fuckers and he is just waiting for you to fall into a nice dreamy sleep before shitting into your open mouth. Best thing to do is burn down your house. And your neighbour's.

SaucyJack · 23/08/2017 22:43

Do mice snore? If not, I'll happily swap you Mickey for my DP.

Mice are cute, plus I might get some fucking sleep for once.

maggienolia · 24/08/2017 08:14

We had one in our lounge (blame this savage creature ).
Snap trap loaded with chocolate did the job. Be prepared to have the shit frightened out of you when it goes off in the night though.

Our cat is a killer. When we moved here it was clear we had a major mouse problem
Now so far as I cam tell they've moved elsewhere .. perhaps there is something quite distressing about your friends and relations corpses lying about the house. Only trouble is that now shes killed off the inside mouse she brings us gifts from outside
