To be so nervous for the gcse results tomorrow?

My dd is collecting her results tomorrow. I'm so nervous for her, probably more than her. She has worked so hard and studied hard that I'm so worried this new grading system will mess it up for her. She was a prefect and the school just rang to ask her to be in the press photos, but what if she's not got the grades? What kind of photo will that be? This 1-9 grading system seems to be much harder than the old GCSEs. She said there was lots of stuff on the maths paper that hadn't even been taught! She needs 6 bs including maths and a 6 in English to go to her chosen college. I'm so nervous for her. Tell me I'm not the only one? I've spent the day telling her how proud we are of her whatever the results. That grades are no measure of your worth as a person.

It was great news. 4 As one A star or level 8 as it is now known. Rest Bs. Phew! I can sleep again.
