Not technically an aibu but I need some help, I've been endlessly googling but with no luck and even though I'm no prude I don't fancy discussing this with friends that I actually have to see again..I'll try keep it lighthearted because if I didn't laugh I'd cry.
I have what I can only describe at fanny fat. I've recently lost quite a bit of weight after having 4th dc and it's really noticeable now. I can't wear a maxi dress or tight skirt without worrying that people will notice a.. ahem.. buldge.
I have a good sex life with OH but the more weight I loose the more noticeable it is and the more self conscious I'm becoming.
I don't even know what I'm expecting by posting this, maybe just to not feel like a freak anymore? Anyone else have something similar and fancy having a pity party with me?
Aibu to search for some probably earth shattering expensive surgery? Or apply for embarrassing bodies and flash my fanny pack to the entire country just to get it free? Or deal with it and just never have sex again..

I have a similar sort of problem, not fat, but my boney part is a bit sticky outty and i don't wear maxi dresses for the same reason, you can see the mound so clearly

Do you remove hair there? Let your bush grow back naturally and you won't have to look at it. And don't buy dresses that draw attention to your vulva!

Another vote for it'll probably go/lessen as you continue to lose weight. Mine did.

And then you get more bruised from ahem any banging.

Oh holy crap! I had not been at all aware that this was a thing.

I just googled Mins Pubis Reduction to figure out what this was. If you're going to go for surgery please do LOADS of research because I've just seen some after pics which had HUGE scars/incisions. I would never personally recommend any surgery until you feel you have exhausted your other options. It sounds like you haven't finished your weight loss journey yet so please don't do anything rash until you have reached your target weight and then re-assess.

I'm quite fat in a lot of places but have just checked and I don't believe I am carrying excess weight in this area but always good to have a new body neurosis
