To think all 7-yr-is girls are not taking pouty, posing selfies

My mate says all girls age 7/8/9 are taking those ridiculous pouty posing selfies. I say no they aren't. What's your experience?

Nope. DD wasn't then and even now at 12 (nearly 13) has no interest in any of it. She has had a phone for 2 years but isn't on any social media really and never takes photos of herself.

My 9yr old Dd doesn't. Some of her friends do though, their mother's think it's fun to post the pics on fb. They are the same people who post pouty pics of themselves too though so I suppose the girls are copying what they see...

My 7yo most certainly doesn't. However, I did notice one of her schoolfriend's mums had posted loads of pictures of her DD on Facebook earlier, doing the 'pout' look at the camera. Why can't they smile?!

Mine isn't 10. Had a phone since she was 7. Doesn't take pouting pics.

Smiley selfies with her friends but not a pout in sight

My 11 year old takes a lot of selfies but not pouting as I tell her off of I ever see her pout. My 9 year old is more likely to take pictures of the dog or her toys or just random things rather than selfies.

Some do some don't. I suspect the ones who do are the same ones who dance in a very sexualised way at the school disco.
