He's always been able to fall asleep at the drop of a hat, within seconds of lying down at night or putting his feet up for a nap in the day.
We also have a 3 month old baby (plus an older child) and he has to get up at 6 to go to work. So I get that he is genuinely tired at times.
But even so, I'm quite worried about him. It seems he falls asleep whenever he's not actively doing anything.
Today he fell asleep sitting up in an armchair while changing channels on the TV. I kept waking him but he would change the channels a couple more times and then fall asleep again.
I'm also tired as the baby hasn't slept well the last couple of nights. So when the baby napped we put a film on for the older child and both DH and I put our feet up and tried to nap too. I probably truly slept for 10-15 minutes judging by the amount of film I missed (and was aware of older child fetching a drink) and got up the moment baby stirred.
DH is still fast asleep 2 hours later, having slept through the film ending (he spoke to us when I started playing a game with eldest after the film and dropped back to sleep instantly), he has also slept through the baby crying.
However he has never fallen asleep while driving or working, so I'm not sure, if it is excessive sleepiness? Or is he just being lazy? Not sure if a lazy person would sleep through a baby crying or fall asleep mid channel changing though!
