The daily mail doesn't swear.

Raising small children is enough to drive anyone to distraction but the language on Mumsnet has become so bad that top brands are beginning to pull adverts from the website.

National Trust and Confused.com want their banner adverts taken down after they were placed on forums containing “offensive” swearing.

Bulgari, the Italian fashion label, was angered after its marketing appeared alongside posts titled “I can’t f*ing do this any more” and “Is this wanky?”

Mumsnet is read by millions of parents every month, with users posting thousands of messages a day on anything from parenting tips to how to deal with rude neighbours. Many mothers use the site to vent anger about the trials and tribulations of parenting.

A National Trust spokesman said: “We regularly…

Have they read the Daily Mail? Is parents swearing worse than the hate in there?

The daily mail doesn't swear

No. It doesn't. It just promotes hate and division in society.

Swearing is bad FFS Grin

Swearing on a screen doesn't hurt anyone unlike the racism and sexism spread by the daily mail.

DailyMailReadersAreThick · 19/08/2017 11:14

I would imagine a significant proportion of NT visitors fit the Daily Mail demographic...

Exactly. I would love a National Trust spokesperson to be asked about that.

Exactly orlantina. I'd take swearing any day over the hate-filled bollocks that's published in the mail.

I wonder how many MN readers fit the NT demographic?

Well, I'm a mumsnetter and a NT member, but their idiotic stance on this fucks me right off. In fact, I feel like fucking complaining to them and telling them EXACTLY what I think about the daily fucking fail. GrinGrin Is it alright to just like old houses and naice gardens and still be a normal person who uses the word fuck?

WorraLiberty · 19/08/2017 11:31

The Daily Mail is the most widely read/linked to newspaper on Mumsnet, so they probably feel they won't lose too much custom, as Mumsnetters will obviously spot their ads on there anyway.

Riversleep · 19/08/2017 11:35

It's ridiculous. If you are offended by swearing surely you wouldn't be on mumsnet to see the ad in the first place. I am an NT member, I bet there are quite a few here.
