Friend and her bf

My friend is in a relatively new relationship (6 months) and everytime I message her when she is with her new bf she literally never responds! And she never messages me at all first either. But as soon as she isn't with him she will message me "sorry was with bf" aibu in thinking this is weird?! Imagine they moved in together would I never hear from her at all?

Well funny how when I was with my ex and I ignored a message from her she blew up about it and had a go at me!

This is such a massive drip - you would have mentioned it in your OP because it would be a huge part of your complaint.

Isn't the whole point of texts the person receiving them answers them when it suits them? If you want an immediate answer make a phone call.

If it's important just ring. If there's one aspect of modern life I can't abide it's the constant need to be on your phone. Maybe it's my age😐

That sounds mature If she never wanted to see you anymore and never replied to your messages, you would have a point. However, that's not the case. Can't you just let the girl enjoy her new boyfriend without playing silly games?

You are well within your rights to find her behaviour "weird", despite what everyone here has told you, but in the long run you are the one who will suffer by having these unrealistic expectations. It might be better, for your own sanity, to chill out and just feel thankful that you have good friends (who may not be perfect but who is?)
