To have a Kindle and a Kobo?

Hi there, I have a Kindle and love it. Although due to the Sainsbury's book app going over to Kobo and getting some good deals on Kobo books I have a few of them too. I know you can also borrow elibrary books and read them on Kobo too. However there is nothing wrong with my Kindle. I have been trying to use my iPhone to read the Kobo books but it's a bit small. Would it be a bit unnecessary to buy a Kobo too?!

If you think you save enough with your Sainsbury's book app deals and borrow enough e-library books for the Kobo to pay for itself in savings, it would be worth it.

I'm guessing a lot of the sorts of books you get in the Sainsbury's book app deals are similar sorts of books that also appear in Amazon's 99p sales quite often too, so that's worth considering - but being able to borrow ebooks alone might make a Kobo worth it for you? I think the cheapest Kobo is about £100, but I'm not sure.

Download calibre to your computer. It manages e book libraries and can convert the kobo files so they can be read on the kindle.
Plus its completely free.

Most kobo books should be epub, and you convert them to mobi or azw for the kindle with it.

When I got kobo, they were £60.
Half price sale was on, so we got them for £30.
Will you read £30 of books?

Check in places like cash converter.
They often have them.

Can you download the kobo app to your kindle? I have neither, I have the kobo and kindle apps on my phone/tablet.

Just buy it!

You can't put apps on a kindle hop

Calibre is treat imokit I use it all the time.

Another vote for Calibre. I use it to convert my Kindle .mobi files to .epub so my mum can read them on her Nook and vice versa.

Thanks everyone. Much appreciated! I can't get the app on my kindle unfortunately. Its a Kindle touch from five years ago! I will try calibre though. Sounds like a great idea!
