I understand! I planned a kitchen with IKEA recently. Made an appointment a couple of weeks later to order the kitchen. Thought it would be a question of here's my ref. no. Here's my credit card. Took 2 1/ 2 hours because bits weren't right from what the previous man had done (nothing to do with me changing anything) Then they said payment system is down can I come back tomorrow. The system came back before I left the store but it took 3 hours! They do an option now where it is sent from a central warehouse rather than in store as it is supposed to be more reliable but still ended up with lots of bit of random kit left over. Pleased with my kitchen though!

I pity the sales assistant that lands selling you your new kitchen!

Y'know, if you weren't buying on the never-never...you wouldn't have this issue. Of course they want to set up a financial agreement properly. They want to make sure you are actually accepted first!
