Anyone used these colours in combination? For a north facing ... darkish room... for DD. Thanks

I don't like the Bengal 🐯 and the Ballet Pink together. Ballet and Fairytale could work.

Aquamarine1029 · 15/08/2017 15:04

To me, the colors don't really compliment each other. The two on top especially. One is obviously pink, and the other has a major peachy tone to it. The peach and pink clash to me.

KickAssAngel · 15/08/2017 15:05

They look really similar - is there a chance that one would just look like a dirty/shaded version of another one?

AuroraBora · 15/08/2017 15:44

I agree with PPs. Have you sat on Pinterest and searched for inspiration? I use it a lot to help me picture the style or colours I want.

Aquamarine1029 · 15/08/2017 15:56

OP, what kind of look are you going for? What colour would be the main colour on the walls? Could you post a pic of the room as it is now so we could get a better idea?

NancyDonahue · 15/08/2017 15:56

I did dds room in similar pink and yellow and it looked a bit too.... trifley. I ended up painting white over the yellow.

ijustwannadance · 15/08/2017 16:00

Tiger one looks like magnolia. Hideous.

The other cream doesn't go with the pink.

MargotLovedTom1 · 15/08/2017 16:02

Neapolitan ice cream.

MaidOfStars · 15/08/2017 16:21

It might look better with something deeper then Bengal Tiger. You'll get a warm, sunset effect.

KimmySchmidt1 · 15/08/2017 16:30

they look like a medical chart of grades of burn or skin infection...

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 15/08/2017 16:32

It's a bit Battenburg cake to me.

PoodleJ · 15/08/2017 16:34

Go on www.colourlovers.com/ for loads of ideas about colour combinations that work. Those ones are a bit 1980's to me.

peachgreen · 15/08/2017 16:44

They're too similar - you need a contrasting colour in there. Swap Bengal Tiger for something like grey, mint, teal or navy, and go for a less yellow cream than Fairytale (or even go for gold?).

Pinterest is your friend!

Thank you for all the comments

Neapolitan... Battenberg... Grades of burn or skin infection... please stand next to the wall that best matches your infection, then you kids go have fun.

Oh dear....

Is there a website or app, besides Dulux that lets you select a colour then automatically matches colours with it... for colour scheme challenged people, leylands or something????

Doesnt if you go on Farrow and Ball, it gives you recommended colour schemes when you select a colour. Doesn't necessarily mean you have to use their paint, but might help give you a feel of what's complementary/contrasting.

Peachyking000 · 15/08/2017 17:16

I agree, it looks a bit like trifle and rather bland. Could you substitute one of the colours for a wallpaper, to give a bit of contrast?
