Just a hunch - do you think it's likely or even possible??

Sorry to piss on anyone's chips, but Harry actually married me at a low key ceremony in Great Yarmouth over the weekend. We had a simple affair in the local registry office, followed by a lovely spread at The White Swan.

Things got a bit lairy later on after a few Stellas were knocked back, and Wills ended up chinning my brother. But he probably deserved it, he told Wills he had a stupid comb over.

We are now honeymooning in Butlins Bognor Regis.

ajandjjmum · 17/08/2017 15:14

I suppose the old biological timeclock could be kicking in for both of them! Don't think he'd marry in secret though.

TheNaze73 · 17/08/2017 15:17

Would he really marry someone so hastily after what his Mum went through?

He'd need his head examining

Icantreachthepretzels · 17/08/2017 15:21

Inspired by this thread I googled the issue and discovered the grim "fact" that, whilst most royals wait 2 years to get married ( Hmm I've not been counting, is this broadly true?) Harry is pushing things forward as the DofE is 96, and Harry wants to make sure he's at the wedding. I bet Phil loved that implication!

I'm not sure if this "fact" makes me believe the engagement rumours more or less.

GreenTulips · 17/08/2017 15:25

We need a princess Doris!

Primadonnagirl · 17/08/2017 15:35

Dear Princess Doris

One is disgusted that already you have broken with royal protocol and announced your marriage to my dearest grandson in this way.You are just like his publicity seeking mother and we all know how that turned out ( these been a bit of coverage about it in the press recently)
Yours,
The Queen

PrincessDorisWindsor · 17/08/2017 16:07

Hello all

Apologies, I forgot to change my username, all very bad form

The wedding was announced in the Great Yarmouth Mercury, although they spelt my name wrong.

We received a lovely novelty egg timer from Prince Edward, which will take pride of place in our new flat overlooking Peckham High Street

Icantreachthepretzels · 17/08/2017 16:12

if Doris was not born into a noble family then she isn't 'Princess Doris' she's 'Princess Henry of Wales'. You don't get to be a Princess in your own right if your a commoner (There's no Princess Catherine!)

PrincessDorisWindsor · 17/08/2017 16:15

Aha, but I am if noble stock. My father was landlord of the Kings Head in Dewsbury.

Icantreachthepretzels · 17/08/2017 16:32

Oh, I am sorry your Highness, i didn't realise

If your father was the Landlord of the King's Head (in DEWSBURY no less) are you sure Harry is aristocratic enough to marry you? You might have sold yourself a bit short - you'll be forever known as the poor relation that made a bad match for love. My condolences to your parents.

PrincessDorisWindsor · 17/08/2017 16:40

As we are a modern couple, he has changed his name to Prince Doris of Dewsbury

WallisofWindsor · 17/08/2017 17:00

No, he has not. He's in Lesotho at the moment working at Sentebele.

Icantreachthepretzels · 17/08/2017 17:16

I thought he was in Botswana (?) on a luxury cruise safari (With Meghan) which is what created all the speculation in the first place.

PrincessDorisWindsor · 17/08/2017 17:18

He's in Bognor Regis with me

PaganGoddessBrigid · 17/08/2017 17:21

I think he'd be talked out of that. The Queen knows that the public would LAP up the wedding. Let's face it, even Kate's sister's wedding got a couple of 1000 post threads on here alone.

If Harry and Meghan get married the public will want 'in' and I really think he would be talked out of a secret wedding.

PaganGoddessBrigid · 17/08/2017 17:25

LolaBridges you're so right. It's being held back........ The NHS is on the verge of collapse, Unemployment up. Special needs resources down.
58,000 British are returning from Europe feeling shafted and Harry is engaged!

WallisofWindsor · 17/08/2017 17:46

Icantreachthepretzels He was in Botswana (Maun)- then travelled next door to Lesotho.

AlpacaLipsNow · 17/08/2017 18:00

My friend had to get permission from the Queen to marry and he's only the son of a cousin of HMQ.

Doubt Harry would be allowed a private wedding. A lowish key one maybe but people like Harry and the PR opportunity would be too much to miss for the Royals.

FizzyGreenWater · 17/08/2017 18:33

It's like the Spencers all over again, apparently far more noble a lineage than the Windsors if you look at the family trees!

It's Harry that's married up here and don't the Dewsburys know it. Doris could have had anyone. From the King's Head down possessed of twice the blue blood (and blue WKD) than those uppity Bucks Pal lot.

FizzyGreenWater · 17/08/2017 18:34

Hope Bobby Boy is doing ok Princess Doris.

So romantic

Icantreachthepretzels · 17/08/2017 20:37

He was in Botswana (Maun)- then travelled next door to Lesotho.

So he could be engaged - but probably not.

PrincessDorisWindsor · 17/08/2017 21:25

It was a very romantic wedding. Bobby Boy wore a lovely little suit, and puked up on Camilla's lap. Charles got tipsy on a few sweet sherries and kept muttering about abdication once one reaches a certain age. And Prince Edward got off with one of the special branch coppers.

FizzyGreenWater · 17/08/2017 22:35

Soooo cute. You must sell the photo booth out-takes to HELLO magazine (all proceeds to Princes Trust of course)
