I really thought it would've subsided now.

Just interested to hear from other parents.

Am really worried how my ds is going to cope when he starts school in a couple of weeks.

Uh I'm 33 and I still have the occasional tantrum.

Oh yes. My dear just turned 5yo screamed 'How dare you say my name' and threw herself to the floor of the very nice aquarium day out.

I let go of her hand, stepped over her and said I am going into the next room.

She stood up and followed me 5 seconds later. Switches it off and on like a real professional :)

Almost 6 and can throw some whoppers ! She's a total diva!

On reflection DH (49) had one today when DD (5.5) "posted" a knife between the slats in the decking.

5.5 yr old twins. Tantrum central here today !!

AVeryBigHouse · 13/08/2017 21:59

Almost 5 yo twins here who can throw almighty tantrums separately/together/consecutively 🙈.

5 year old and 7 year old very rarely. Sometimes it happens but I make them sit on the step until they are ready to talk properly and listen to reason. Sometimes they just get tired and need some time out of the situation. Mine argue more with each other than have individual tantrums.

My nearly 6 year old can throw oscar winning tantrums (think kid in The Exorcist) but is an angel everywhere else. He lets it all out at home. 😁

I've a 7 year old that can have some exceptional tantrums at times still. Her friends parents reassure me that their children are slightly unhinged too!

DD2 has thrown some epic tantrums over the years and will still occasionally try it on at nearly 9. Unfortunately the childminder seems to get it now!

DD3 is nearly 7 and gets extremely stroppy! She told me a couple of days ago that she hated me and she was never going to tell me she loves me ever again.

Even the 15 year old cried and kicked over a chair today because she has had her internet confiscated.

Can someone remind me why I had children, and three of them? 😵
