Argh. I got a BFP this morning.

Dying to tell DH when he got home from work, only for him to arrive with his brother (who works near him) for BIL to pick something up.

Now they have settled down to a session on the XBox and DH has invited him to stay for dinner!

AIBU to be sending subliminal messages to my BIL in the hopes that he remembers some random emergency and buggers off so that I can tell DH?

I just watched 10 funny pregnancy reveals on you tube.. Something to pass the time and plot yours.

I've had my reveal planned all day.
Even managed to keep it from my best friend when we got lunch.

I checked back on this thread and then thought has he not gone yet.. then realised in 10 months you will both we in bed by 9...Congratulations btw.

With me, I wish I'd have waited to do a test together, felt guilty I did the test when he was working. I also think my ex would've wanted us to find out together though he didn't say.
Maybe pretend you don't know and do another test with him there. If you can do that. You can be all excited together.

Well BIL stayed till 10. Oblivious DH have him a lift home and when he got back went straight to the loo!

Told him I'd managed to sort his mum's Christmas present while I was out with my bestie and handed him a box containing the seat and some shoes.

He stared at it for several seconds before asking, "really?" multiple times.

He's now planning to make a cot (he's a decent carpenter) and has given it a nickname.

Every time I've told DP he's never believed me lol. First time was a bit of an ooops and we'd only been together a short time so it was a phone call with him basically repeating .... what!!?? How? Oh my god. Second time was after three miscarriages and I was in Tesco toilet and came out with a clear BFP. Him and my mum were just looking at me a day then none of us could believe it. Third time I was in Waitrose toilet 😂 Least I kept it classy till the end.
