Are the Martens guilty of killing Jason Corbett?

Apologies if there is already a thread on this issue. I can't tell if they are guilty or not. What do MNs think?

I disagree worriedmum. I think that was an interesting documentary that clearly says he was beaten whilst he slept. Blood splatter is very important when it comes to murder as well as the injuries to the skull. The jury had no doubt.

She may well have felt that she was in an abusive relationship, that's not what's at question here.

Plus there was a long time before the death occurred and the ringing of the ambulance service. That seals it for me.

I'm skiving today and have spent hours on Websleuths, reading loads of threads on this case/trial. Loads of info, links, articles etc. there for anyone interested in exploring further.

Elendon thanks for making me waste the whole day!!! OMG that case is bonkers. Although a completely different story it does have echoes of the Martens case.

From that Peterson case I would be terrified of being on trial in America. The experts seem to make it up as they go along. Forensic evidence is dodgy to say the least.

I find it impossible to tell who is guilty but the jury looked clueless to me.

There were doubt in this case.i think the court reached a good judgment.they have spent long enough in prison.
