Anyway i really really cant be botherd to cook tonight am on strike!! to be fair i cook from scratch every sodding night.
So this is what the toddler is having for tea .....milk roll bread pizzas
toasted two slices of milk roll bread bit of passta and lot of grated cheese under the grill.

I don't understand how this is in any way crap. I do this fairly regularly and sometimes add tinned peas and sweetcorn to it. Sometimes spiced peppers too.

Notevilstepmother · 08/08/2017 17:52

Sounds good. Cheese on toast but with vitamins.

Goingtobeawesome · 08/08/2017 17:53

Muffins also work well for mini pizzas.

Toast pizza is a go to tea in our house

HookandSwan · 08/08/2017 17:58

Sounds like something I make my charge often. Yum :)

Kitsandkids · 08/08/2017 18:00

I thought I'd made a pretty good dinner the other day when I fed my kids 2 English muffin halves with tomato ketchup and grated cheese on, grilled. I have a 9 week old. We've gone through a lot of pot noodles in the last 9 weeks!

Emboo19 · 08/08/2017 18:00

Absolutely nothing wrong with your toddlers dinner, I make my 10 month old muffin pizzas for lunch sometimes.
As a child I loved pizza toasties ok I still do occasionally two slices of bread passata and cheese and put in the toastie machine. It was my parents go to quick lunch or dinner, sometimes I'd even eat it on the go if I had after school activities on.

Enjoy your takeaway and prosecco!

Julia001 · 08/08/2017 18:03

You are doing brilliantly, don't be so hard on yourself :-) CakeFlowersGin

HipsterHunter · 08/08/2017 18:06

Sounds fine to me if you give them some carrot sticks or something on the side!

Welshmaenad · 08/08/2017 18:08

I have an infection and feel dreadful, despite antibiotics. Mine took themselves to the shop for a sausage roll for lunch and had kfc for dinner.

You're doing fabulously 😂

AdmiralJaneway · 08/08/2017 18:18

If I didn't know that my nephew was 3 I'd be wondering if you were my SIL!! You don't live in Preston do you?!

danTDM · 08/08/2017 18:19

Once in a while I just give DD a bowl of cereal and fruit. Shoot me now!

AdmiralJaneway · 08/08/2017 18:20

Oh and if you are my SIL I'd. be telling you that you're going just fine!! It's hard work with you he children. That meal sounds great to me as it's not every day.

MrsMotherHen · 08/08/2017 19:09

That sounds delicious to be honest. As for potty training when you've got an 8 week old and cooking from scratch.....you are superwoman! Be kind to yourself, if your DC are fed, loved and clean they're fine xx

Sammysquiz · 08/08/2017 19:16

Toddler + newborn is soooo hard, just do whatever it takes to survive!

Welshwabbit · 08/08/2017 19:18

I gave mine muffin pizza tonight and the only difference from yours was that I used (frozen) home made tomato sauce (with hidden courgettes and carrot, so that's my concession to veg) and bunged some ham and mushroom on top. I felt well smug. And mine are 2 and 5 so I have no excuse.

Twinkie1 · 08/08/2017 19:26

Fucking genius!! That's the bread that's round right?

PodgeBod · 08/08/2017 20:35

Better then what my 2yo had for dinner- spaghetti hoops on toast. Except she wouldn't eat the toast, so a plate of spaghetti hoops Grin
