Every other thread I've looked at today on AIBU is from years back.

What is going on? Is it the same poster? can they be stopped??

Jeffrey is the hacker that took MN down two years ago this very month. The other issue cannot be talked about at present.

My money is on bored teacher, or parent that has had enough of the holidays. My DC are apparently too grown up to need me to entertain them anymore but youngest is not quite old enough to be left home on her own, I am so bored!

Jeffery was the reason for one of my old usernames Hackerfucker I loved that name (didn't realise that was the 'name' of the hacker though)

Can the other issue be discussed over PM?

It's a shame that zombie threads have been awake this much lately.

Some very entertaining ones were recently deleted due the professionally offended outcry after a decade or even more.

I once bumped an old thread a couple of days after signing up here . I was googling something else and one of the results that came up was a thread on here. I was reading through it and I was pretty shocked and angry at one of the responses so I replied back to them and then realised it was from 2013!

This is annoying me too. I wonder who is doing it. I assume it's malicious.
