Almost losing the will to live with the bloody stuff! Constantly losing bits, finding bits all over, DC shouting me yet again because there's bits gone under the sofa.
Anyone got any better suggestions than 'chuck the whole damn lot out'?

Can you confine it to some sort of playpen maybe? That way it won't spread out all over the house.

BaldricksTrousers · 04/08/2017 18:36

Get used to it. Playmobil will soon be a distant memory and you'll be moving on to the next toy with a million parts that hurts when you step on it.

bluepinkflower · 04/08/2017 18:37

It's already limited to the playroom only. Looking into getting some kind of playtable for toys with little bits and pieces.

I 'lose' the little fiddly bits pretty much before DD realises they exist.

mamaduckbone · 04/08/2017 18:38

I miss playmobilSad - enjoy it whilst it lasts. I spent hours and hours rebuilding the knights castle

Babyroobs · 04/08/2017 18:39

I certainly don't miss it from when my kids were little ! One Christmas we ( stupidly) bought the supermarket. Spent the whole of Christmas day assembling it and placing thousands of tiny tins on the shelves ! We've still got it in the loft somewhere, I doubt I will get it out when grandchildren come along !

It makes the dyson look pretty though

Girty999 · 04/08/2017 20:45

A ball pit or small paddling pool, lob it all in x

Show them how to hook stuff out from under the sofa. Put some of it away and rotate. Refuse to get involved when they loose bits.

littlemisssweetness · 04/08/2017 21:06

Could you use something like this? www.educationfurniture.co.uk/play-table-set?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIkpejuLC-1QIVxrftCh1NfQtlEAQYAyABEgIvRvD_BwE

safariboot · 04/08/2017 21:13

Maybe a "play and go" type bag? They open wide so they're like a mat with a raised age, tell DC the Playmobil stays on the mat, then afterwards you just pull the drawstring and it scoops it all up together for storage. Good for Lego too.

safariboot · 04/08/2017 21:14

Raised edge even.

Need20yearsofsleep · 04/08/2017 21:26

Was gonna suggest the play and go bags that people use for Lego but someone beat me to it Grin. I love playmobil though and can't wait to get it for my ds when he's old enough

Need20yearsofsleep · 04/08/2017 21:27

Also maybe get some draught excluders and put them in front of the couch might stop the pieces from going under that at least
