Indeed, we reserved best seats for you/ Watty/ SpanGran/ GTB (and Ken, if he's not too terrified at prospect...).

Delicious refreshments (both scone and non-scone-based), plus classic dusty travel sweets in a round tin, are most definitely being provided by our talented MNer home cooks...love those fox cookies, Fairfax!... (catering dept, and definitely photos of the menu, possibly headed up by TheMaddHugger, if she fancies the gig?).

Our fantasy itinerary is flexible, as and when new CFN disputes are pleasingly resolved...or wherever else seems fun. Sea air at Mablethorpe now added, Science !

Note for anyone perplexed:
This being OP/ Watty's own thread, the coach trip is just (lighthearted) imaginings celebrating her victory. Possibly also sleep deprivation kicking in.

Could I add another bus? My DD is nagging me to go on a double decker - I could bring the girls along and make it into a day out for them. I've found one that I like. Looks a bit like a fire engine - newdaddie do you fancy dressing up and serving drinks on this one?

As a sideline, what do you do these days when you catch a bus? Pay the driver or do I need a pre - paid ticket thing? Lancs way if that makes a difference. Last time I caught a bus was the 65 from Kingston to Richmond and I moved out of Kingston in 2007!

We will deny all knowledge and claim they must have secreted themselves aboard while we were all on a loo break at a motorway services.

Good idea: separate kids' fun double decker bus(es). staffed by kindly nannies so parents have options either to sit with them/ not sit with them

Best keep their innocent souls well away from Bad Influences On Other Coach(es).

And tickets for day trip are FREE.

I neeeeed to be in the posh coach, I shall have my Cream Tea things with me, and they will run away home if I'm on the Antique one (never mention age to Antique things, they are sensitive ). Also, I want to be on the Posh Futuristic one as I'm an antique thing myself and have had more than enough experience of them - dh refused to have an electric kettle in the house until we'd been married nearly 5 years (and I'd melted 3 on-the-hob varieties). DO NOT MARRY A MAN WHO REFUSES YOU MODERN KETTLEDOM, you will regret it!
