He is looking after ds this afternoon as I have to go to dd's easter craft workshop.

I haven't left him here on his own since he moved out and I am almost 100% certain that he will have a mooch.

Was thinking of putting something behind my door so if he opens the door I will know.

Knowing what most of us do about your x, do it!

I definitely would if I were in your shoes.

Sounds like fun! Next time you should to the matchstick thing and leave the lipstick message on the mirror too! When you get home you will only have to look at his face to know if he has been in or not! I would laugh my head off at him, make him feel really stupid!

What about a bag of flour above the door? No way he'd manage to clean himself and the floor up sufficiently before you get home (and get another bag of flour to put up there) .

moondog · 30/03/2007 16:09

What's he doing in your home anyway???

Actually, I did a fantastic wind up on my nosy mate, I mocked up a letter from 'Camelot' inviting me to pick up my winning cheque (I've never played the lottery in my life) knowing that she'd go for a nose. Then left it in an open envelope on the sideboard while I made her a cup of tea.

When I came back she didn't say a word, just sucked up to me for weeks, but she did tell all my friends. I told them she was clearly mental and having delusions and that I wished she's stop having this crush on me because it was embarrassing.

Ha,ha! Love it! I will have to use that one!

mistressmiggins · 31/03/2007 19:47

do what I did.....

my ex left Nov 2005 & at Xmas 2005 he came to look after our 2 children so I could work....

so I went to B&Q and bought a cheap paddlock thingy and screwed the device onto our spare room.
Then I shoved everything I didnt want him looking at (including the computer) in that room.

I had a phone call about an hour after I'd left from an irate H asking what I had done & that it looked like a cheap bedsit.

I calmly explained that after cheating on me & leaving, I couldnt trust him and besides, why did he need the computer when he was meant to be looking after his children & spending quality time with them

he still has access to my house with the kids & I go out & I always shove my valubles in that room & lock the door

He was there cos i had no one else to have Ds whilst i went to the dd;s easter craft workshop. Believe me I didn't want him there but it was either that or dissappoihnt the dd's. Couldn't ask him to go to the workshop cos apparently he didn't behave at the last one
