If your partner is up all night with your baby, the correct response when she mentions she is exhausted is not, never, under any circumstances whatsoever "me too".

AIBU to think this shouldn't be too hard for them to comprehend?

I find anyone telling me how tired they are really fucking annoying if they know how shit my nights sleep are. I get people trying to 'join in' and 'share' and whatever other shite you want to call it. But really?

Me ; i've been up all night, dd woke every 20 mins screaming from 9-3. and i couldn't sleep in between, DS2 got up 2-4 and ds1 decided up time was 5am today...
Them my dad ; i know, i'm tired too, i didn't go to bed till 11 and then had to wake up for a wee at 3 and then didn't get to sleep for about an hour, i had to sleep in till 9 i was so tired. I think i might go for a nap now to catch up...
Me ; sob
