Went to my local wacky yesterday and this happened to my 2 year old! I went to the mother of the other child, very unapologetic, I think she was more bothered about the fact I was interrupting her and her friends. I later mentioned what happened to a friend of mine and it turns out she knew the other mother and she has posted on FB about the funny incident of her child hurting another. I know kids will fight but he had my child pinned to the floor doing this and that Bitch thought it was hilarious!

Well she sounds charming. I hope he's recovered from the event.

PsychoPumpkin · 02/08/2017 14:06

What's a wacky?

Sorry your son got hurt, he's beautiful by the way Smile

namechange20050 · 02/08/2017 14:07

Oh god that's awful. Poor little chap. Is he ok? The mother sounds awful.

kaytee87 · 02/08/2017 14:08

What's a wacky? How old was the other child?

Sorry your ds was hurt Flowers. Very cute btw Smile

Sarahmariefoster · 02/08/2017 14:08

Poor thing I hope that he gets better soon he is one beautiful baby

kaytee87 · 02/08/2017 14:10

Also the mother sounds awful. My 1yo ds has a tendency to touch other babies faces and sometimes is too rough. I'm always mortified even though he's never actually hurt another baby.

hotmessmom82 · 02/08/2017 14:10

He's perfectly fine now thanks Smile but it's just the fact she would post about how funny it was. I know I'm just winding myself up but it just amazes me what some people are like!

kaytee87 · 02/08/2017 14:13

I'd be tempted to get friend to post that picture underneath and say 'oh yes very funny isn't it Hmm'
I'm childish though Grin

Sarahmariefoster · 02/08/2017 14:13

He won't

Bunnyhipsdontliegrl · 02/08/2017 14:14

The hard lesson I have learned from any playgroup/ soft play I went to is that there will amost always be THAT parent who, for whatever reason, doesn't think that it's their job to stop John-Snowflake or Mary-Precious from breaking someone's skull. They won't change and it is enraging but in those cases I just stay very close and stop the child myself. Your poor little lad (you are probably more traumatized than him though)

DonkeysDontRideBicycles · 02/08/2017 14:14

Poor boy!
Sad Some parents really couldn't care less what their little darlings do.

Guessing Wacky Warehouse, (softplay, slides etc).

Bunnyhipsdontliegrl · 02/08/2017 14:15

And yes, he is ridiculously cute!

PyongyangKipperbang · 02/08/2017 14:17

I would want to post on her thread too.

"Disgusted that you found it so funny, my son didnt find it hilarious when your child inflicted these injuries on him."

ConstanceCraving · 02/08/2017 14:19

Wacky = soft play?

Your DS is gorgeous! His poor face though.

annielouise · 02/08/2017 14:20

I'd have to too. Horrible parent that she is.
Any normal person would be mortified if their kid did this to another.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 02/08/2017 14:20

Love brown eyes and fair hair . . .

As you say OP - not many people would consider it a laughing matter, and I wonder if she would have been chortling if another child had scratched and hurt her little bugger darling boy like that.

I would bet my ovaries that she wouldn't.

BitOutOfPractice · 02/08/2017 14:21

YOu think these type of shithead parents don't exist dont you? Then you come across one...

hotmessmom82 · 02/08/2017 14:22

I was tempted to actually start a fb account and contact her but I hate it so much I couldn't being myself to 😂😂

OP posts:
Hudson10 · 02/08/2017 14:24

For those asking, I'm assuming Wacky means a Wacky Warehouse.
Which is a soft play chain in the UK. Smile
The other mum sounds horrible if she was making a joke of it on FB. Sad

ShesABloodyLoon · 02/08/2017 14:25

Ask your friend to post that pic to her comments and say, "Yeah, cracking job there. Got him good."

hotmessmom82 · 02/08/2017 14:27

Yes sorry it was the wacky warehouse. I've never had a problem there before and it was a shock. I would have been mortified if Tate had done it to him!

quickname · 02/08/2017 14:29

unfortunately par for the course at softplays... we are exposing our normal children to tougher more violent children and there will always be a scratcher/ biter or general thug with non interested or if you're really unlucky, aggressive parent. this is what you sign up for when entering these places.

quickname · 02/08/2017 14:31

and re the fb commentary. yes it's annoying but that's the mentality of type of person you may unfortunately meet at a soft play... fortunately soft play years do not last forever Grin

youarenotkiddingme · 02/08/2017 14:31

Omg your ds is gorgeous Grin

I'd also get your friend to post the pictures saying "you're right - you son did have a great fight. Looks like he won too".

I actually feel more sorry for the other kid. Yours is hurt but his scratches will heal. This kid is likely to have a whole childhood of being raised by a twatty mother who cares more about her friends than raising him.

Also immediately wondered if this is my local wacky? (In P?)

WhoreOfBabyliss · 02/08/2017 14:47

Your boy is so lovely OP. Those eyes! You'll be beating them off with a shitty stick when he's older!
