Well, sending unsolicited naked photos anyway. Isn't it akin to physically flashing?
Inspired by another thread,
What are your thoughts?
I think that if you're, quite rightly, not ok with someone getting their penis or vagina out right next to you (as does happen Sad )
then you probably wouldn't be happy to have it happen online either?

Olennas, if it is indeed a crime as stated upthread I find it hard to believe an officer would ignore it.

Uh, police officers ignore/victim blame with rape, so no, I don't find it at all hard to believe.

That's how misogyny is done nowadays - we have all the laws needed, but they just aren't enforced.

For lack of enforcement, society can blame individuals, and still pretend that there's no problem with misogyny in society in general. Much more convenient that way!

But considering that the psychological harm done by a dick pic to most women is relatively small, I encourage all of you who get sent such pictures to report it, as I assume you can deal with the shitty attitude many police officers will have about it. (Whereas most rape victims cannot).

Enforce boundaries. If police have to deal with too much complaints, they can either try and campaign for dick pics to be legalized (wouldn't make them look good, that) or try and crack down on it so that men don't do it anymore.

Cocklodger - the police are overstretched as it is, and offences like this are just not a priority for them (like someone stealing your bike, or swindling your granny out of £200). Plus as Vestal says, they don't have a stellar record on dealing with victims of rape and serious sexual assault either.

Is it really unbelievable?
