Game of Thrones betral. AIBU?

So my otherwise lovely new BF has betrayed me.

We made a pact not to watch Episode 2 until we're together on Thursday at mine. I asked him outright on text if he had been unfaithful. No answer.

Then I asked him on the phone last night. His response? Yes 2 minutes.

WIBU to LTB? Grin Grin Grin

I gave up on it near the end of the first season the first time I watched it. The scene with Littlefinger and the two women in the brothel was just too much for me.

But when I went back to it, and managed to get past season 1, the sex scenes start to get toned down and (mostly) are part of the plot.

If you're worried about spoilers you can get an add in for chrome called "game of spoilers" and it will black out anything that seems like it might be a reference to GoT - not sure if it works on mobile but on a computer it's great! I can browse in peace without worrying about errant spoilers.

I did think it was funny when Kit Harington was asked if his Mum watched GoT. He said she watched one episode where someone was beaten with their own arm and stopped, decided to try again and chose the episode with Jon and Ygritte in the cave! No dear, just No. was her response mind you if that was my son and his RL girlfriend I couldn't watch it either.

Hey all. Sad news I'm afraid. The day after I posted this he broke with me. It had only been a couple of weeks but still.

I watched it last night and have now got the pie reference. OMG! Poor Sir Jorah! No way could all that be cut off and he live.

Nice to see Hot Pie again.

Also, did anyone else feel like shouting 'strap on!' at Greyworm during that scene?

My son put on the first episode while I was still busy sorting dinner etc. He thought I was being unreasonable for making him turn it off and wait for me!! 🤔

Re: boyfriend. As one door closes another one opens. Just had a medieval renactor ask me to watch him today. He knows some of the stunt riders from GoT and he has been 'pursuing' me for a little while now. Now that I've stopped to take a proper look - yes, yes I would GrinGrinGrin

35kg of armour anyone? I shall wear my GoT Denyrs t-shirt. That should swing it!

I think one might be a much better fit than my ex who I am now referring to as Wun-Wun.
