Friend's Dog Pissing on Lawn WWYD?

My friend has a lovely dog, and she keeps bringing it round. The thing is... It keeps pissing on my lawn and leaving dead patches everywhere.

It irritates me as I have to dig the patch out and reseed. My friend doesn't see the issue (its just grass) and I'm kinda inclined to agree, but I can't help it annoying me.

I'm not going to fall out with or read her the riot act, but my friend keeps asking to bring the dog. She would leave the dog at home if I asked but would probably chuter to herself and reduce the number of times she comes to me (we're very even with visits, no issue there).

Any tips? Am I being unreasonable to let it annoy me? WWYD?

Just wondering, why is she bringing the dog though? Do lots of people with dogs bring them to friends on visits or is it just me who finds it odd?

We have friends and family who like our dog so much that they insist we bring her when we visit. Bit of a bummer, really, as it means we can't go by motorbike when the weather's nice.

My friend's dog pissed all over my leg and foot the other day so it could be worse! Miles from anywhere so I had to walk round with a soaking stinky leg and foot all afternoon (binned my trousers and shoes when I got in in disgust).

As others have said, pouring a load of water on the grass afterwards will help top the grass dying. I'd also have a word next time she asks to bring the dog over, as she may not be aware that it is wrecking your lawn.

Tell her the dog is welcome, but if it goes outside, she needs to pour water (from watering can) where it wees? If she won't go for that idea, tell her that the dog's no longer welcome, or has to stay inside.
